It's been a while...
So I may have abandoned this newsletter for a while… whoops. But I’m going to try and get better about using it, especially when I have some exciting news to share, and I have had a couple of exciting things happen since I sent my last newsletter.
First, I published another book!
A Ballad for Slayers & Monsters released on the 15th April. It’s a The Witcher inspired adult fantasy with an all female cast, and a sapphic love story between a monster slayer and a vampire as they embark on a journey together to save the world.
You can read it now in ebook, paperback and hardcover formats, with gorgeous covers illustrated by Annalise Jensen and Miriam Moritz.
And recently I also released the audiobook for Of Knights and Books and Falling In Love, narrated by the supremely talented Cody Sloan!
I’d been wanting to have Of Knights in particular made into an audiobook for some time now, and when I first heard Cody’s narration I instantly knew he would be the perfect voice for this story, so I was thrilled when he agreed to take on this project, and I could not be happier with the final result. Therefore, I think you should go take a listen to it ^_^
What else have I been up to?
Well, apart from publishing novels and audiobooks, I have been hard at work on Of Bards and Quests and Falling In Love, the spin-off to Of Knights and Books and Falling In Love. This time we’re following the story of Iris and Florent, two of the side characters from Of Knights. I’m in the middle of a final proofread and it’s set to be released in 2026! You can also add it on goodreads.
I’m also drafting a new book, affectionately known as gay dragon riders WIP. Since it’s still being written I don’t want to say too much about it just yet, but it’s probably my most ambitious project yet. Also if you’re a fan of Dragon Age and The Roots of Chaos series by Samantha Shannon like I am, then this book might just be your cup of tea.
And that’s all I’ve got to say for now. Let’s see if I’ll get another newsletter out before 2025 comes to an end.
